About Tacx: from family business to global brand

Tacx started in the late 1950s as the Tacx family’s cycling business, led by Koos Tacx. His sons and grandson later joined the company. Its headquarters are in Wassenaar, near The Hague in the Netherlands.

In 1972 Tacx launched its first roller trainer. The company went on to become one of the largest makers of bike trainers, cycling tools, bottles and bottle cages, with customers all over the world. Most products were designed and developed in the Netherlands.

In 2019 Tacx was acquired by Garmin, known for its sports watches and bike computers. At the time Tacx had almost 200 employees. The Tacx name lives on, and so do the bottles the brand is famous for among athletes.

With the Shiva O2, made from biobased plastic derived from sugarcane, Tacx shows that a sports bottle can be more sustainable. For your promotion, that means a recognisable premium brand with an option that fits your sustainability policy.

Tacx Shiva: the classic squeeze bottle

The Shiva is Tacx’s best-known model: light, easy to squeeze and fitted with a closable pull spout. The Shiva XT has an extended, flexible spout and a black screw cap.

Leak-proof Tacx bottles: Daiya and Shanti

For the gym bag or the office. The Daiya has a leak-proof diamond cap and a wide opening; the Shanti has a membrane cap that does not leak when open and locks fully closed with a twist.

Sustainable: Tacx Shiva O2 made from sugarcane

The Shiva O2 is made from 100% biobased polyethylene derived from sugarcane and is fully recyclable. Same shape and ease of use as the Shiva, but made from a renewable raw material.

Tacx Fuse with fruit infuser

A soft 450 ml squeeze bottle with pull spout, carry loop and a fruit stick for flavoured water. Large print area from the ring to the bottom.

For clubs and teams: the bottle crate

A stackable crate for 8 bottles of 750 ml, with your logo as a sticker. Handy for soigneurs, clubs and events.

How to choose the right Tacx bottle

  1. Choose by use. On the bike, a Shiva or Shiva XT is ideal; in a bag, choose a leak-proof Daiya or Shanti.
  2. Choose the capacity. 500 ml for short sessions and children, 750 ml for long rides and races.
  3. Think about sustainability. The sugarcane-based Shiva O2 suits a green image and costs almost the same.
  4. Match the colour to your logo. A bottle in your brand colour stands out more. Most models come in 10 to 16 colours.
  5. Order enough for the price break. From 500 items the price drops considerably and you can use up to 6 print colours.
